The proposal reflects the real scope, complexity and project stage
Starting prices are an initial guide. The final proposal depends on floor area, project type, the quality of available information, the number of rooms or views, the required technical detail, the number of options and the intended programme. For existing buildings, the condition of services, accuracy of measurements and reconstruction scope also matter.
To compare proposals fairly, check whether they include the same deliverables: stages, 3D images, technical drawings, specifications, site visits and support during construction. The lowest figure is not always the best value if key decisions are left to the building site.
